Food was amazing! Fam had the banana pancakes, the peach pancakes and the French toast. All were amazingly delicious. I had the Puunene omelette which comes with tofu and green onions. It also comes with a side and I ordered the fried rice. The chef then came out to confirm if meat was okay in the fried rice since none of the other orders included meat and indeed I changed my order to fries. It was very considerate for the chef to come out and confirm the order. Appreciated it very much. Service was great, lovely people and all the food was devoured in about 10 mins with nothing to spare and the was very cost effective as well :)

Stopped at Jack's Inn for breakfast when we flew in to Maui. Is in decent proximity to Costco and Safeway. I had the Loco Moco and momma had the international omelet. She thought the omelet was slightly overcooked, but in fairness there wasn't any left on that plate... My Loco Moco was well balanced in the rice to meat/egg/gravy ratio. Additionally they put some corn on it which was good addition. To keep things in perspective for this review, we drove past many other restaurants that we had tried; to eat there again. Unfortunately they were closed due to 'no workers.' At least I got to eat there once! Certainly very dated, but who cares about the ambiance when you are looking for a good meal. I hope for other peoples' sake they reestablish their work force

This place is great! I think it's family owned, and the food is wonderful. Might have a long wait like us, so prepare for that, but the foods worth it.

Still great. Great service, great food, still cash only, one of our favorite local hole-in-the-walls still. I don't think I've had any bad meals here. Support local and check them out.

What a wonderful local experience with friendly welcoming service by Brandon and the Jack's team. Visiting from Miami and Orlando for true Hawaiian breakfast; the Loko Moko was delicious and hearty. Also fluffy pancakes. The fried spam and Portuguese sausage (get their chili sauce), and the famous POG juice; Pineapple, Orange & Guava. What a delightful very authentic local experience. Thanks Brandon & Team!

The food was delicious! I ordered the banana pancakes with side order of bacon. The pancakes were soooo moist and flavorful, that I didn't need to use syrup. Bacon was crisped to perfection. Service at that time was amazing and quick. Sometimes they're short staffed. It is an old building. It's quite warm that day. Prices are reasonable.

Next level Everything was top tier Got the double loco moco, sweet French toast and pancakes. I'm gonna have a hard time now coming here every day on my trip. The prices are impossible to beat and the flavor chefs kiss

Close to Kahului airport, if you are looking for a place to eat with early hours, give Jack's Inn a try. I love a place that has both a breakfast and lunch menu that allows you to order from both at any time during their open hours. Got their Super Dry Mein that comes with a bowl of saimin broth to enjoy. Regular service is a huge size. I ended up eating it for breakfast and save the rest for lunch. Saved a drive to Sam Sato's. Fried rice is one of my favorite things to eat so I have to try it everywhere I go. They sell side orders of it by the scoop. The place gives me diner vibes. Service felt homey from your aunty and their sons running the business.
